Biography
Joseph was born in Leicester in 1988.
From a very young age he attended Dupont Dance Stage School at weekends and after school. At the age of 15 Joseph spent 2 years with the Royal Ballet School and attended their Senior Associate programme.
During his time at Dupont's, Joseph became well known on the competitive dance scene and walked away from festivals across the country with titles such as the IDTA DanceMaster and Senior English Modern and Ballet Champion.
At the age of 17, when he was still in his final year of studying for A-Levels, Joseph auditioned for a part in the Original London Cast of the musical Wicked. After a total of 7 auditions he was offered a part in the ensemble, two months before he reached his 18th birthday!
He successfully completed his A-Levels and made the move down to London to begin Wicked rehearsals in July 2006, opening with the show in September as one of the youngest adult performers in the West End. The rest, as they say, is history.
